Consolidation Week

The thing about consolidation weeks, are that you appreciate the recovery for the body, but at the same time have a battle in your head about the lack of running that week!

Going from around 11 hours of running to 3 this week I have had plenty of time to get on with the business side of the run, which is pretty full on also as not only are we trying to raise much needed dollars for research, but we are also canvassing for partners to sponsor the run to help reduce some of our own expenses.

When I decided to carry out the run challenge and produce a documentary that highlights the prevalence of Stillbirth and the preventable measures that can help to reduce the incidence, I knew the costs were going to have to come out of our own pocket, all $120,000 of it, if we could not find some partners to jump on board. I mean let's face it I am not an AFL footballer or social media influencer!

However, I am a bereaved mother with first-hand experience of Stillbirth and the lifelong effects of losing a child. I am passionate about the project ahead, and I am determined to show other bereaved parents that I will be their voice, until they are ready.

So, I am very excited to announce our early partners that have shown their support and jumped on board to help us achieve our goals to make a difference.

Brooks: Keeping me fitted out and comfortable during my training and along the way to Melbourne, I cannot thank them enough to help with the expense of footwear for such a challenge.

Mediterranean Cafe: My local for the past 15 years, the best coffee in Adelaide, these guys are like family. Chris is one of the first to always support my fundraising activities for Stillbirth, in fact I never even have to ask, I just mention that I am doing something, and he will say "What do you need" Stay tuned for a coffee day in July and make sure you get down to Glenelg and show these guys some love.

Bonetti Transport & Hire: A great SA family business who basically in a nutshell move all the big stuff around the state. It is families like these that make South Australia great, progressive and hardworking.

Good Physio: Tristan and his team have kept this old gal moving for almost a decade now. The first thing I noticed on my initial appointment was they were not just another Physio, the vibe was cool, the appointments were longer so they could really treat your issues, and they were keen to get you back to what you loved doing pretty quickly. Seeing this business grow over the years and not lose its uniqueness is a credit to the team. Located in Glenelg another great SA family business.

Maxiron Wealth: Located in Sydney these guys, or rather Ray, has been managing our retirement funds for a few years now. It is always tricky business trusting where to put your life savings, and Tim did a lot of research before landing here. We caught up with Ray on our last trip to Sydney and when he found out why we were visiting and what we were doing, he said send me the details and I will see what Marketing can do. A week later a deal was done!

If you are keen to jump on board as a partner, whether as a business or individual then email Tim at tim@mccranorandco.com for a Partnership Package, there are many levels available from $500 through to $7,500. You will get plenty of exposure over the coming months as well as during the 20 days of the run.

Thanks for supporting x
