Recovery Week

So what does recovery week look like or what is it even about?

My training cycle consists of six week blocks at which at the end I get a couple of lower dose running weeks to enable the body to recover and recharge for what is to come. So it’s a matter of being patient and not annoying your family because you are not out running every day :)

Fortunately I had enough on to keep me busy, like meeting the media crew that are going to be documenting this journey and helping me become social.. yes I am a tik toker now!

Not one that like’s to be the centre of attention, it’s why I ran a 50km fundraiser for turning 50 and not having a party instead. But I have to learn to step out of my comfort zone with this if I want to raise a million dollars.

So you may see me over the next year as you have never seen me before, a little exposed, a little vulnerable and hopefully a little more followers!

Hopefully you have taken the time to watch my launch video that the team popped together, me as a starring role and a cameo by DT my coach. I really want to thank Aussie, Justin and Ash for making me feel comfortable and being patient as I learn to be in front of a camera.
