Kindness

This past week I have reflected a lot on the kindness of people, and how lucky I am to have not only the support from family and friends, but the kindness shown from strangers too.

When I started this campaign I always knew the people that would have my back, for they are the same people who are always there for me, as I am for them. However I was wanting to reach past my network and take this fight to the broader public, I did not know how this would look or whether it would even happen. As I have mentioned before I am not a celebrity, sportsperson or influencer that has thousands of followers and can cash in on that fame, but I was not going to let that deter me.

With the help of my friends and the power of social media this campaign is evolving and I am so thankful for everyone that is contributing, whether that is by donating, dollars or prizes, sharing my journey and socials, running with me, holding events or sending me messages of support. It really is helpful and is making an impact.

I am also thankful for the new friends I am making who all have their own stories to be told, and who are navigating the path of grief whether that is from losing a baby, or from infertility struggles. These friendships are a source of comfort for me.

So thank you to everyone for your support and love.

As for training it was a big week, ending yesterday with 3.5hrs and rounding out a month of 375 kilometres on the feet.

Roll on July…. Thank you for reading xx
